How Each Process Works

Same structure on every card: What it is → Steps → Artwork tips → Care → Turnaround.

print DTG — Direct to Garment

Full-colour & photos Best on cotton No minimums

What it is: Water-based ink is printed straight into the fabric for a soft “in-the-shirt” feel.

Step-by-step

  1. Send art: PNG (transparent), PDF, or AI at 300 DPI.
  2. Pre-treat (dark items): Prep spray makes colours pop.
  3. Print: Ink goes directly into the fibres.
  4. Cure: Heat sets the ink for wash durability.
  5. QC: Alignment and colour check.

Artwork tips

  • 300 DPI at final size; avoid true neon expectations.
  • Use transparent PNG for non-rectangular edges.

Care

  • Wash inside-out, cold/warm; gentle cycle.
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry; no direct iron on print.

Typical turnaround: 5 business days.

layers DTF — Direct to Film

Logos & team sets Cotton & polyester Bright & durable

What it is: Design is printed to film, powdered with adhesive, then heat-pressed to your item.

Step-by-step

  1. Send art: Vector/PDF/PNG, 300 DPI.
  2. Print & powder: Colour to film + adhesive coating.
  3. Press: Transfer heat-pressed to the fabric.
  4. Peel & finish: Film removed; final press for hold.

Artwork tips

  • Outline fonts or include font files.
  • Solid colours/gradients OK; avoid low-res screenshots.

Care

  • Wash inside-out, cold; gentle cycle.
  • Tumble dry low; no direct iron on transfer.

Typical turnaround: 5 business days.

workspace_premium Embroidery

Hats, polos, jackets Premium & durable One-time digitizing

What it is: Real thread stitched into your item for a clean, retail-grade look.

Step-by-step

  1. Digitize: We convert art into stitch paths (one-time).
  2. Sample sew: Test on similar fabric to confirm details.
  3. Hoop & stabilize: Backing keeps stitches crisp.
  4. Stitch: Commercial machines sew your design.
  5. Finish & QC: Trim threads, cleanup, inspection.

Artwork tips

  • Vector/PDF/PNG all fine; we’ll simplify tiny details if needed.
  • Text under ~4 mm may not sew cleanly—ask for a size check.

Care

  • Wash cold/warm, gentle cycle.
  • Tumble dry low; iron inside-out (avoid direct heat on stitches).

Typical turnaround: 5 business days.

style Vinyl Heat Transfer

Names & numbers 1–2 colour logos Fast singles

What it is: Solid-colour vinyl is cut to shape and heat-pressed—crisp edges, bold colours.

Step-by-step

  1. Send art: Vector (AI/PDF/SVG) preferred.
  2. Cut: Design cut from coloured vinyl.
  3. Weed: Excess vinyl removed for clean edges.
  4. Press: Heat and pressure bond it to fabric.

Artwork tips

  • Keep strokes/lettering reasonably thick to prevent lifting.
  • Not for photos or ultra-fine detail—use DTG/DTF instead.

Care

  • Wash inside-out, cold; gentle cycle.
  • Tumble dry low; no direct iron on vinyl.

Typical turnaround: 5 business days.

coffee Sublimation (Mugs & Tumblers)

Permanent into coating Full-wrap OK

What it is: Ink turns to gas and bonds inside a poly-coating—no raised print layer. We only offer this on mugs and tumblers.

Step-by-step

  1. Send art: High-res PNG/PDF at final wrap size.
  2. Print: Artwork printed to sublimation paper.
  3. Press: Heat/pressure bond the ink into coating.
  4. Cool: Paper removed; colours are permanent.

Artwork tips

  • Plan for handle gaps on mugs; white areas = cup’s coating.

Care

  • Hand-wash recommended for longest life (some top-rack safe).
  • No microwave for metal tumblers.

Typical turnaround: 5 business days.

sell Patches (Embroidered, Woven, PVC, DTF)

Backings: sew-on / iron-on / Velcro® Great on hats & jackets

Step-by-step

  1. Choose type: Embroidered, Woven, PVC, or DTF patch.
  2. Produce: We make patches; sample approvals available.
  3. Apply: Sew or heat-press; Velcro options available.

Artwork tips

  • Vector preferred; we’ll adapt micro details for legibility.
  • Pick merrowed (rounded) or laser-cut border by shape.

Care

  • Wash cold; close Velcro before washing.
  • Air-dry preferred to protect edges/backing.

Typical turnaround: 5 business days.

palette Screen Printing

Best for bulk & spot colours Lowest cost at volume

What it is: Ink is pushed through custom screens—one per colour—onto the garment for durable, consistent prints at scale.

Step-by-step

  1. Separate colours: Each colour prepped as its own screen.
  2. Burn & register: Screens aligned and test-printed.
  3. Run & cure: Printed colour-by-colour, then cured.
  4. QC: Opacity, alignment, and ink cure check.

Artwork tips

  • Vector art ideal (AI/PDF/SVG). Spot colours = cleanest result.
  • Halftones/gradients possible—ask for pre-check.

Care

  • Wash inside-out, cold/warm; normal cycle.
  • Tumble dry low; avoid harsh bleach.

Typical turnaround: about 3 weeks.
